Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This role involves caring for dogs in a safe, clean, and engaging environment, ensuring each pet receives attentive care and a positive experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job. Responsibilities

- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime, rest periods, and feeding times to ensure safety and well-being
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including cleaning kennels, play zones, and common spaces
- Assist with feeding, administering medication if needed, and providing basic grooming support
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and health status
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies,



equipment, or animals when required
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff

Requirements

- Prior experience with animals or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Passion for working with dogs and understanding of canine behavior
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed for supplies or animals
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with pet owners and team members
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a quick-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for animal care are essential

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour
