You can walk into an occupied home, introduce yourself professionally, protect the space, repair the drywall, finish it properly, vacuum sand it, match the texture, blend the paint, clean everything up — and leave behind a customer who is genuinely impressed.

What This Job Actually Is

Drywall Medic specializes in residential drywall repairs.

Think

- Ceiling and wall patches
- Plumbing and electrical access repairs
- Water-damage repairs
- Texture matching
- Small drywall installations
- Drywall finishing
- Prime and paint
- Paint blending
- Small multi-day homeowner projects

This is not production drywall. You're not spending every day throwing sheets around a construction site.

You'll have your own jobs, your own customers and a lot of independence.

Our office generates the leads and books the work.

Your job is to take ownership once you arrive.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can handle a residential repair from start to finish without us sending three different tradespeople.

You don't have to be the world's best at every single part of drywall.

But you should be strong at most of these:

- Drywall patching and boarding
- Taping and finishing
- Vacuum sanding / dust control
- Texture matching
- Priming and painting
- Paint blending
- Protecting occupied homes
- Keeping an extremely clean jobsite
- Talking comfortably with homeowners
- Problem solving without needing constant supervision

Most importantly: Customers need to like having you in their home.

If you're talented but constantly late, leave a mess, hate talking to customers or need someone else to solve every problem, this probably isn't the job for you.

If customers regularly ask for you by name, we definitely want to talk to you.

Compensation





$40/hr+ base depending on experience and ability

Our strongest technicians can earn significantly more through performance incentives.

The full package can include:

- $40+/hr base wage

A strong technician who can independently run profitable repair jobs can earn an effective $50-$60+/hr. We don't believe our best people should make the same money as someone who simply shows up and punches a clock.

If you're excellent with customers and great at repairs but you're missing one piece — maybe you're a strong finisher who needs more experience with paint blending, or an excellent renovation/repair technician who needs to improve texture matching — apply anyway.

We can teach skills.

It's much harder to teach someone to care about their work, communicate well and take ownership.
