Job Summary

We are seeking a warm, patient, energetic, and dependable Education Assistant to provide dedicated one-on-one support to a 5-year-old child in his preschool classroom in Calgary.

The successful candidate will work alongside his classroom educators to support him throughout his daily routine, including play, crafts, outdoor time, group activities, and interactions with peers.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and will take an active role in encouraging communication, initiating play and interaction, and supporting the development of greater independence. The aide will also reinforce strategies recommended by the child's speech-language and occupational therapy professionals as part of his everyday activities.

The preschool provides a welcoming and collaborative environment with bright, airy classrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, warm neutral décor, and experienced Early Childhood Educators on site. Dress is casual.
