We ensure that the people we support have opportunities to live and participate in their communities by enhancing quality of life, promoting social inclusion and self worth.Position: Developmental Service Worker – Summer Student (on-site)Contract Length: 8 weeks.Pay: $19/hourWorking hours: Monday – Friday, 9am -4pmResponsibilitiesAssist and support individuals with meeting the activities of daily living including personal hygiene, and life skills.Foster social interaction and inclusion among people supported, encouraging participation and building confidence.Document attendance, participation, reactions, and progress to ensure individualized care and support.Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.Work in a position of trust with the people supported.Assist with ad hoc projects as and when required.Requirements and skillsInternational students are not eligible participants.As the objective of the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program is to support youth entering the Canadian labour market,
