Active Start Childcare is hiring a Childcare Educator for our Preschool and OSC programs in Calgary South East Seton. Focus on creating a stimulating environment for holistic child development.
As an Educator, you will be providing nurturing care and managing age-appropriate activities that enhance children's physical, social, and emotional growth. Robust interpersonal skills and a background in childcare are essential for building positive relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a protected, engaging classroom workplace for young learners
• Plan and implement activities for overall child development
• Develop relationships with children, families, and staff




• Document and communicate observations of child progress
• Maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
• Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2, or 3 certification
• Prior experience in licensed childcare preferred
• Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector renewal required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
