Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to control systems to power electronics.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where you set your own hours and work on your own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems —
- Create advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, and electromagnetics to rigorously test AI performance
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions —
- Write accurate, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and model evaluation
- Audit Technical Accuracy —
- Review AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
- Refine AI Reasoning —
- Identify flaws in AI logic and provide structured feedback to improve how models approach and solve engineering tasks
- Stress-Test the Model —
- Probe AI responses on topics like embedded systems, signal processing, control systems,
robotics, and engineering simulations — documenting every failure mode
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational expertise in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or electromagnetics
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
- Exceptionally detail-oriented when working with mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an async environment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI model behavior or prompt-based workflows
- Background in standards-based engineering documentation
