Engage in meaningful recovery work as a Behavioural Health Navigator with Beccarian Correctional Care. This Calgary-based position is centered on helping inmates overcome substance use disorders through community engagement. As a Behavioural Health Navigator within the Therapeutic Living Units, you will play a pivotal role in guiding members on their recovery journey.
This position entails collaborating with individuals to implement personalized treatment plans, while actively fostering a supportive and educational community atmosphere. Your meaningful interactions will enhance the rehabilitation process and support various therapeutic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Mentor members through structured and therapeutic activities
Assist in program facilitation and community-building tasks
Participate in clinical reviews and provide constructive feedback
Maintain ethical and qualified boundaries with all members
Supervise and support training of recent staff and program participants Requirements:
At least three years of relevant counselling experience
Addiction certification would be an asset
Knowledge of substance use and mental health topics
Effective communication and group presentation skills
