Become a key part of CHEO's Sleep Lab as a Respiratory Therapist in Ottawa, specializing in patient care for respiratory conditions. This role involves critical interventions and assessments in both Sleep Lab and Ambulatory Care settings.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll evaluate, implement, and coordinate respiratory care for patients dealing with complex sleep disorders. You will work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary team providing support and education to patients and families. Your expertise will help ensure secure and effective application of respiratory technology and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and titrate ventilatory support for patients
• Provide diagnostic testing and scoring for sleep studies




• Administer medication via inhalation as prescribed
• Prepare equipment to meet precise patient care goals
• Guide and educate families on respiratory management

Requirements:
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or eligibility
• Essential BCLS and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Strong team-oriented practice skills are required
• Experience in sleep laboratory is preferred
• French/English bilingualism is mandatory
