This role is responsible for originating, shaping, and advancing district energy and thermal infrastructure opportunities across Western Canada, with an initial focus on British Columbia. While leading the origination process, this role will work alongside the VP of Development and collaboratively with project development, commercial development, operations, and finance teams to support advancement of opportunities. The position is designed for the individual who demonstrates the ability to independently lead market and business development, manage complex stakeholder environments, and advance projects from early concept. The ideal candidate blends deep technical knowledge (HVAC, utilities, and district energy) with commercial acumen, business development expertise, and a sharp marketing instinct. Success requires comfort operating in early-stage environments where projects are not fully defined, with the ability to align stakeholders and develop technically and commercially viable pathways to delivery.Corix is proud to offer a flexible working environment. have an online presence on platforms such as LinkedIn.Contribute to building Corix’s visibility and credibility in the Western Canada marketQualificationsEducation & Experience10+ years of experience in business development, infrastructure development, consulting, energy, or real estate.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) is preferred. Candidates with alternative technical or quantitative backgrounds combined with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
