We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team.The OpportunityPostmedia Distribution is looking for flexible, hardworking individuals to join our growing team!What you’ll doPrepare stations for inbound parcels: Set up of racks, bags, and cages, for sorting.Ensuring everything is properly labeled with correct Hub/Sort codesScan, sort, and place parcels within stations in the appropriate labeled bags/cagesVerify sort codes to match with proper bags/cages to eliminate "missorts"Ensure proper use of provided equipmentResponsible for bringing missorts/package issues to AdminsBag/Cage all sorted freight and stage the freight for carriersAssist with loading and unloading trucks as requiredClean facility as requiredUpdate respective Leads of any supplies needed,



damages and any delays or issues encounteredEnsure all Health and Safety Guidelines are adhered to at all timesEnsure dock safety for yourself and fellow coworkersAny other task or assignmentsdeemed necessary by the organizationWho you areHigh School DiplomaReliable transportationBasic English language skills (written and oral)Warehouse experience considered an assetGood interpersonal, communication and organization skillsAbility to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs repetitivelyAvailable through the week and/or weekendsAbility to work up to 12-hour shiftsCompensationEmployment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.Base Salary: $18 per hourWe thank in advance all applicants for their interest, however only those candidates under consideration will be contacted.
