Academic Subjects High School TeacherMath Trainer – Future Bridge Academy Program CentreCanada Newcomer Services Society is seeking Math Trainers (Youth) to support students in grades 6–12 at Future Bridge Academy Program. This role focuses on teaching, tutoring, and preparing students for math contests and school lessons, while helping them build confidence and problem‑solving skills. Trainers will also develop content, create mock exams, and facilitate math enrichment activities. No qualified teaching credentials are required; all training willbe provided and supervised. This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs and must comply with program eligibility, requiring participants to be aged 15–30.Key ResponsibilitiesMath Instruction and SupportProvide individual or small‑group tutoring aligned with students’ school lessons.Support students in understanding concepts, solving problems, and applying strategies.Prepare students for math contests and competitions through targeted practice.Answer student questions and provide step‑by‑step explanations.Content Development and Resource PreparationResearch and prepare teaching materials, problem sets, and exercises for school topics and enrichment programs.Develop mock exams and practice tests to help students prepare for contests or assessments.Plan and facilitate math camps or workshops to extend learning opportunities.Student Engagement and Progress TrackingConduct intake or check‑in conversations to assess students’ current skill levels, interests, and goals.Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.Maintain records of student engagement, completed exercises, and performance on mock exams.Equity, Accessibility, and InclusivityEnsure all instruction and materials are inclusive, culturally respectful,
