Company Description MOA Coffee Bar is a premium mobile coffee service that creates elevated, brand-forward coffee experiences for corporate events, conferences, and activations. Inspired by the Korean word “MOA,” meaning “to gather,” the company focuses on turning gatherings into thoughtfully designed moments through coffee.

MOA partners with brands, agencies, and hosts to tailor each coffee bar to the event’s identity and objectives. Every element—from the cart setup and drink ware to baristas and bean selection—each is carefully curated to reflect the client’s brand. The company is based in Toronto and serves clients across the Greater Toronto Area, partnering exclusively with independent coffee roasters from across Canada.

Role Description This is a contract based, in office Event Barista role located across the GTA. The barista will prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and other coffee drinks at branded events, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down mobile coffee bars, managing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout each event. The role involves engaging with guests, delivering warm and professional customer service,



and communicating clearly with event organizers and team members. Baristas may also assist with preparation, coordinate timing with event schedules, and represent MOA Coffee Bar and client brands in a polished and reliable manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create welcoming guest interactions and support positive event experiences.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, drink preparation, and familiarity with commerical coffee equipment.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication abilities to coordinate with event hosts, teammates, and brand representatives.
- Candidates should possess food-safe skills to handle easy event-friendly beverage items while following hygiene and safety standards.
- Experience working in fast-paced hospitality or event environments is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and travel within Toronto and the GTA as needed.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance suitable for corporate and branded events.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and any relevant certifications (e.g., food handler) are an asset.
