Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.We are presently searching for our next excellent team member as a Ski Patrol to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)Ensure guest and safety through identifying and mitigating hazards, maintaining all ski area ropes and signs, opening and closing runs, assessing, and mitigating avalanche risk, compiling weather data, providing first aid, participating in rope rescues, locating missing persons within bounds, and contributing to public education.Patient care record keeping and incident investigation documentationMaintenance, inspection, and documentation of all Ski Patrol equipmentCommunicate clearance to open runs, on-hill hazards, etc.Exemplify, educate and enforce the Alpine Responsibility CodeGuest Relations, including managing difficult guestsAssist with all special eventsAssist with keeping the ski area clean of debris and garbageCompliance with all Manning Park Guiding Values, policies,



and procedures as outlined in employee handbook and Patrol ManualSign and uphold Manning Park’s Confidentiality AgreementOn-call evening shift for the resort and staff first aidAssist Lift Operation with daily openingAssist Terrain Park Ranger with opening, monitoring, closing featuresAssist with snow removal, roof clearing, etc.Other tasks as requiredJob Requirements / Qualifications:Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (Preferred), CSP, 80 hr. Wilderness First Aid, or equivalent.Safety oriented working attitude and a professional mannerIn excellent physical conditionAdvanced skiing/snowboarding skills, must be able to ski all runs with tobogganExcellent communication and guest services skillsAbility to be a supportive team memberAble to follow direction and work unsupervisedAbility to work in adverse weather conditionsPrevious experience in patrol, first aid, snowmobile driving, SAR an assetAvalanche Skill Training 1 (AST 1) or higher an assetFall Protection training, Work on High or Rock Climbing experience an assetClosing Date: August 15, 2026This is a seasonal position; you must be able to commit tothe role for the full winter season (November-April).
