Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Toronto, ON

Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.

Position Description
Process accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll for 400+ employees
Manage payroll across seven divisions and two legal entities
Support both unionized and non-unionized payroll , including two daycare collective agreements
Manage payroll changes including current hires, promotions, salary increases, incentives, leaves, and terminations
Review timesheets and payroll data for accuracy and authorization
Prepare reconciliations, payroll registers, reports, and supporting documentation
Process ROEs and support year-end activities,



including T4s
Partner closely with HR and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers
Support audits, reporting, and Finance requirements
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen our use of Dayforce

What You Bring
3+ years of hands‑on payroll experience
Hands‑on Ceridian Dayforce Payroll experience — required
Experience supporting a large or complex employee population
Union and non-union payroll experience is a solid asset
Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and year-end requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
