The Housing
Secretariat is hiring two Policy Development Officers to play a pivotal role in shaping housing strategies. Applicants should possess deep expertise in policy development, including analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management. The successful candidate will work on creative programs that address homelessness and advocate for renters, ensuring accountability and service excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis for housing policy proposals
Develop policy recommendations for City Council consideration
Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders
Lead public consultation and feedback processes
Ensure program budgets align with development goals Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary qualification in public policy or similar
Extensive background in policy design and evaluation
Robust strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proven experience with community engagement and partnerships
