Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Fabrication Assembler - Rubber Products. You'll play a vital role in transforming rubber materials into rubber components. This position requires precision, craftsmanship, and experience using hand and shop tools. Candidates with carpentry, construction, woodworking, or similar skills will excel in this role. This role involves hands-on fabrication of rubber products using hand tools and assembly techniques - no metal fabrication or welding.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret drawings (blueprints), work orders, and technical instructions to accurately fabricate rubber components and assemblies.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fabricate components (custom gaskets) to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Assist in process improvement and provide input on tooling or workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in carpentry, construction, woodworking or similar trades.
- Proficient in using measuring tools and hand/power tools.
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the confidence to take initiative and provide direction and support to others.
- Comfortable performing precise fabrication work.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor production issues.




- Experience in manufacturing or rubber/plastic fabrication an asset.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a willingness to learn new skills.
