Why Join Us?

Are you a skilled maintenance professional who loves solving mechanical problems, tracking schedules, and keeping a facility running like clockwork?

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, our Facility & Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping our aerospace manufacturing facility safe, compliant, and operational. You will balance hands-on machinery maintenance (like supporting our CNC routers) with overseeing crucial building systems like plumbing, and electrical. If you are highly organized, possess strong technical aptitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this is the perfect career path for you.

What Your Role Will Be Mainly Responsible For:

You will look after the technical heart of our facility, coordinating maintenance schedules and keeping our systems online.

- Support Production Machinery: Partner closely with the Production Manager to execute regular and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, including lubing, degreasing, checking oil, and replacing filters.
- Oversee Building Systems: Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, troubleshooting issues with heating, cooling, thermostats, lighting, and plumbing systems.
- Own the Maintenance Schedule: Implement, track, and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules for all facility cleaning and machine maintenance.
- Manage Inventory & Logistics: Monitor washroom and cafeteria supplies, collaborate with different departments to re-order essentials, and ensure we are always fully stocked.
- Coordinate Fleet & Driving: Track regular maintenance for company vehicles, flag required repairs to the manager, and act as a secondary backup driver for local deliveries.
- Ensure Seasonal Exterior Safety: Operate outdoor equipment like lawnmowers and snowblowers to manage lawn care, shovel snow, and salt walkways.
- Maintain Professional Spaces: Keep high-traffic areas pristine, manage waste disposal schedules,

and assist in setting up the company boardroom for VIP customer visits.

What You Bring to the Team: We are looking for a reliable, technical problem-solver who remains skilled under pressure. Here is what we need:

- Industrial Experience: At least 2 years of relevant facilities or machine maintenance experience, ideally within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Advanced Facility Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, lighting) and facility equipment (alarm systems, thermostats, snowblowers, mowers).
- Licensing & Compliance: A valid Ontario G Driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a satisfactory criminal background check.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to coordinate with vendors and document schedules.
- Adaptability & Drive: Strong multi-tasking skills, a calm demeanor during unexpected situations, and a continuous willingness to learn and improve your skillset.
- Physical & Shift Flexibility: Comfort standing, bending, and moving for extended hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., and the flexibility to work overtime or alternate between Morning and Afternoon shifts as business needs change.
- Bonus Assets: A valid Forklift License and/or Scissor Lift License is highly valued and considered a major asset!
