Make a difference in community inclusion as the Family Camp and Community Engagement Lead at Karis Disability Services. Drive initiatives that promote belonging for people with disabilities. In this permanent full-time position, you will lead efforts to connect with churches and manage Family Camp development.
Your work will involve building robust relationships with community leaders, organizing camps, and fostering environments where everyone belongs. Collaborate with various stakeholders to strengthen outreach initiatives and ensure impactful programming. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and lead Family Camp programs nationally
- Support volunteer recruitment and mentoring efforts
- Develop connections with churches and faith organizations
- Share feedback and outcomes to demonstrate program effectiveness
- Represent Karis at community events across Canada Requirements:
- At least five years of relevant leadership experience
- Proven background in working with community or faith initiatives
- Exceptional interpersonal and engagement skills
- Strong understanding of disability inclusivity and community resource management
