Take charge as the Lead Hand Arena Maintenanceperson at Sudbury Arena. Ensure outstanding facility maintenance and oversee ice preparation for a variety of events. In this role, you will report to the Assistant Manager of Arenas and leverage your two years of experience in arena operations. You'll perform essential duties including ice maintenance, event conversions, and supervising staff to maintain exceptional service delivery for all arena events. Key Responsibilities:
Manage maintenance tasks and repairs as a handyman
Conduct regular ice maintenance adhering to standards
Oversee conversions for shows and entertainment events
Assemble stages and set-up equipment efficiently
Maintain detailed logs according to operational standards Requirements:
Successful secondary school education
Refrigeration Operator “B” Certificate preferred
At least two years in arena maintenance
Experience as a Lead Hand is essential
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Lead the efforts in maintaining the Sudbury Arena's top-quality facilities and successful event hosting through your specialized skills and experience.
