Maintenance Electrician (Day) - BathurstWe are seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Electrician to manage electrical maintenance on our modern, state‑of‑the‑art food processing plant at Simplot Bathurst.About Our RolePermanent, full-time day work position at Simplot BathurstMonday – Friday day work 06:00 – 14:30 hrsBase hourly rate of $48.25 + applicable shift loadings & site allowancesElectrical licence allowance $72.80 per week + tool allowance $23.28 per weekRDO accrualsWork with a variety of fixed‑plant food processing equipment within a modern, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilityWhat You Will DoReporting to the Maintenance Manager (via the Electrical Team Lead), the Maintenance Electrician will perform planned, opportunity and breakdown electrical activities on a wide range of fixed plant and equipment in alignment with the site's maintenance & production schedules.Identify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro‑stops caused by production machinery and equipmentInspect, test and maintain machinery & equipment in production areas plus wider plant buildings & facilitiesWork with PLC and electronically controlled system diagnostics, fault finding, programming and connectionsPerform general plant and building maintenance workUndertake specific project work upon requestPerform assigned tasks in accordance with all Simplot Safety, Health & Wellbeing & Environmental policies & proceduresUtilise MEX CMMS to update work orders, search asset history and advise on maintenance trends or opportunities for improvement and innovationTake part in continuous improvement (CI)
