Join Elk Valley Resources as a Survey Technician, bringing your skills in data collection and UAV technology to the forefront of mining safety and productivity. This position operates on a 4x4 shift schedule in beautiful British Columbia. Reporting to the Mine Engineer, you will work closely with diverse teams to provide essential survey guidance.

This includes surface data collection with UAV systems and GPS, as well as maintaining design files. We seek an individual with robust problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills who thrives in agile settings. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on health and safety initiatives
Support mining teams with field data collection
Maintain accurate engineering design files
Deliver training to recent employees and co-op students
Engage in cross-training with blasting teams Requirements:
Diploma in Mining, Survey, or Geomatics
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
Experience with survey technology and processes
Advanced UAV Pilot Certificate is an asset
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite® Utilize your surveying talents to ensure safety and efficiency in Elk Valley's mining operations.
