Enhance your skills at Louis Brier Home and Hospital as a Health Care Support Worker. This role offers a combination of paid work and education towards a Health Care Assistant certification. Reporting to Clinical Nurse Leaders, you will support clients with non-direct healthcare tasks in a respected long-term care workplace.

This position is part of the Health Career Access Program allowing you to gain relevant experience while temporarily relocating to Vancouver for education and employment. Emphasis is placed on person-centered care guided by Jewish values. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the healthcare team with client support
Build rapport with residents and their families
Help clients with mealtime preparations
Carry out general housekeeping duties
Check and manage healthcare supplies Requirements:
Minimum Grade 10 education with English 10
Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Experience with HCA training not permitted
Effective organizational and communication skills
