Cascadia Scientific is seeking a Mining Analytics & Customer Solutions Manager to help mining operations turn data into measurable improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with North American mining customers, gain hands-on exposure to real-world mining operations, technology, and data analytics, and earn a competitive salary.

This is a hands-on analytics role focused on building reports, dashboards, trend analyses, and custom studies that help mine sites improve fuel efficiency, productivity, fleet performance, and sustainability outcomes. You will work directly with customer data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL, transforming large operational datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.

As the primary customer contact, you will manage analytics requests, technical issues, and improvement initiatives while overseeing customer projects and software integrations. You will partner closely with mine site teams to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and ensure customers receive maximum value from Cascadia's platform and data.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a curiosity for uncovering insights in data, and the ability to communicate findings in a way that drives real operational change. You will work closely with Cascadia's Software, Data Science, Field Services, and Customer Success teams while serving as a trusted advisor to operations, maintenance, engineering, dispatch, and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Analytics & Insights

- Analyze haulage, fuel, road condition, productivity, idle time, payload, and operational datasets using Cascadia's analytics platform, Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, and other reporting tools.
- Build custom reports, dashboards, KPIs, trend analyses, and executive presentations using Cascadia's software suite and customer fleet data.
- Convert complex operational and fleet performance data into practical recommendations for operations, maintenance, dispatch, and engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve fuel efficiency, reduce idle time, optimize haul road performance, increase productivity, and lower cost per tonne.
- Lead regular weekly customer performance reviews,



highlighting trends, insights, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support ad hoc analytical requests, investigations, and root-cause analyses for customer operational challenges.
- Develop current analytics, KPIs, and reporting tools that help customers extract greater value from Cascadia's platform and data.

Customer Success & Delivery

- Own customer projects from initiation through completion.
- Establish project scope, objectives, KPIs, timelines, and customer deliverables.
- Coordinate activities between customers and internal teams.
- Maintain project plans and ensure action items are completed on schedule.
- Track customer outcomes and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Technical Support & Problem Resolution

- Serve as the primary customer contact for software, reporting, data quality, and platform-related issues.
- Lead root cause investigations for technical and operational issues.
- Coordinate with Software, Data Science, and Field Services teams to resolve customer challenges.
- Manage customer support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
- Proactively identify and address risks affecting customer success.

Integrations & Technical Coordination

- Support and oversee customer integrations with third-party systems including fleet management, maintenance, ERP, telematics, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with customer IT and technology teams during deployment and integration projects.
- Document data flows, requirements, and integration processes.
- Ensure customer data is accurately captured, validated, and reported.

Product Improvement & Innovation

- Act as the voice of the customer within Cascadia Scientific.
- Gather, document, and prioritize product enhancement requests.
- Identify recurring customer challenges that can be solved through product improvements.




- Work closely with Software and Data Science teams to support roadmap development.
- Explore new and innovative ways customer data can be leveraged to deliver additional value.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience in mining technology, mining operations, data analytics, data science, engineering, consulting, or technical account management.
- Previous experience working in the mining, mining technology, industrial, or resource sectors is strongly preferred, with an understanding of mining operations, customer challenges, and industry workflows
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
- Experience analyzing operational or industrial datasets.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and multiple concurrent priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical findings into operational business outcomes.
- Experience working directly with mine operations, maintenance, dispatch, and engineering teams
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive problem solver.
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or statistical analysis tools.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) are required, as this role will work directly with North American customers and internal teams. Spanish, Portuguese, French, considered an asset.
- Familiarity with mining technology platforms such as Modular, Wenco, MineStar, Hexagon, CAT VIMS, Komatsu KOMTRAX, or related systems.
- Experience with IoT, telematics, fleet data, or industrial analytics solutions.
- Understanding of mining fleet operations, haulage performance, and production processes.
