Canadian Tire's eCommerce Operations team is hiring a Summer Student (4-month contract, Summer 2026) based in Toronto, ON. This role supports the launch and post-launch stabilization of current ship-to-home shipping capabilities, contributing to operational accuracy, financial integrity, and scalable processes.What You'll DoOperational Support:Support launch execution and post-launch stabilization activities for new shipping capabilitiesTrack operational issues, risks, and exceptions across Stores, Carriers, Finance, Digital, and Customer SupportAssist with coordination and maintenance of store-facing operational materials, FAQs, and process guidanceSupport cross-functional follow-ups to ensure issues and action items are tracked and resolvedProcess Improvement & Insights:Identify operational pain points, manual workarounds, and recurring exceptions during launch and early operationsSupport documentation of current state processes and assist in defining improved or standardized processesAnalyze exception trends and operational data to identify root causes and improvement opportunitiesCompile and maintain operational reporting, dashboards,
and summaries to support decision makingFinancial Settlement Support:Support financial settlement tracking related to subsidized shipping, including carrier charges and store funding impactsAssist with reconciliation activities and identification of discrepancies or anomaliesSupport exception reporting related to financial or settlement issuesMaintain tracking logs and documentation to support alignment between Operations and FinanceWhat You BringCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Commerce, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related disciplineStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in process improvementStrong proficiency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong attention to detail, particularly when working with operational and financial dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentInterest in eCommerce, retail operations, or finance & reportingPrior experience with reporting, data analysis, or process documentation (academic or co-op) considered an assetCompensationHourly rate: $23.00 – $37.00 CAD.
