Lead community engagement in sports as a Sport Development Supervisor at the Markham Pan Am Centre. Manage initiatives, staff, and events to promote active participation and outreach. In this full time role, you will report to the Sport Development Coordinator and oversee various sport development initiatives within the Markham community.

Your responsibilities will include administration, mentorship, and performance management for a team focused on athlete and community development. Ensure effective partnerships with local sport groups and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee City-wide sport development initiatives administration
Manage recruitment, training, and scheduling of part time staff




Collaborate with community sport groups for funding needs
Maintain excellent service standards for all stakeholders
Prepare promotional materials for initiatives and events Requirements:
Post-secondary education in recreation or sport management
Minimum three years of supervisory experience in recreation
Current First Aid certifications required
Proficiency in MS Office and CLASS is an asset
Solid communication and leadership skills Drive effective sports engagement and development in Markham through strong leadership and teamwork.
