Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate home care nurse to provide specialized foot care services in our patients’ homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing, particularly in medical foot care and a robust commitment to patient education and wellness. You will collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary clinic team to ensure each patient receives the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive foot assessments for patients with various health conditions and foot related concerns
- Provide medical foot care services such as general foot care, nail trimming and filing, diabetic foot care, non-surgical ingrown toenail removal, thick/fungal nail reduction, corn removal and callus reduction
- Educate patients and their families on proper foot hygiene and best routine care practices
- Develop personalized patient care plans in collaboration with clinic team
- Monitor and document changes in patients’ foot health by electronic charting in EMR system
- Develop rapport with patients and ensure positive patient experiences
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Qualifications and Requirements

- CNO License in good standing
- Certification from an approved foot care training course preferred or willing to obtain in-house training at a discounted rate.
- Experience in home care, community nursing, or similar healthcare setting is an asset




- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Must have valid Ontario Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- RNAO or RPNAO $2M liability insurance maintained
- Have own medical foot care tools/homecare kit preferred
- Must have own reliable vehicle and insurance
- Preferred: homecare kit
- Minimum two professional references

What We Offer:

- Flexible hours and scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle! No weekends/evenings/holidays
- Bookings 2 days a week to start (between 9:00am-5:00pm) with opportunity for more hours
- Up to 8 patients/appointments per day
- Competitive compensation - $30.00/patient
