The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for aFull-Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Temporary Generalist Teacher for Manning Aurora Composite School.This position is to commence on August 27, 2026. The initial teaching assignment will be assigned by the Principal in a K-9 setting.
Manning Aurora Composite
School is a K-12 school in northern Alberta. The school is located in the Town of Manning, Alberta, approximately 200 km north of Grande Prairie. To see more of what this quant village offers, visit the Town of Manning website.
Qualifications - Experience and/or training in teaching junior and senior level grades.
- Excellent communications skills with students, staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success.
- Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students’ achievement.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A keen understanding of assessment practices.
- The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom .
Requirements - Must hold or be eligible for a validAlberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application. This position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured.

Together - Success for All This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary
Range $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
