Position ScopeNACG is looking for a Bench Hand to work in our maintenance facility in Acheson. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.What You'll Be DoingMove tools, materials, parts, components and materials to and from work areasFuel, greases/lubing and services heavy equipmentPerform preventative maintenance including but not limited to tire changes and oil filter changesAssist journeyman with minor repairs and maintenance of equipmentWash/clean and prepare heavy equipmentPaint & sandblast equipment componentsAct as a spotter for heavy equipmentProvide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work areaTeardown of equipment and componentsUndercarriage rebuildsWhat Makes You The ONEKnowledge about maintenance, and a general knowledge of mechanical aspects or equivalent work experience.High school diplomaMust have valid class 5 driver's licenseEffective interpersonal skillsAlways demonstrate safetyBe proficient in English, both verbally and writtenBasic computer literacy/skills.Experience around heavy equipment is an asset.What's NextIf you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process,
