ʔAkisq̓nuk First Nation seeks a Director of Health and Wellness to enhance community health services through strategic leadership. This onsite role prioritizes culturally relevant healthcare delivery. In this full time position, you will report directly to the CAO and be responsible for the overall health and wellness strategy for the community.

This includes overseeing program developments, compliance, and quality assurance while fostering meaningful partnerships with external organizations. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in strategic planning for health initiatives
Monitor and evaluate health program effectiveness
Engage with community leaders and healthcare experts
Ensure adherence to health policies and guidelines
Deliver comprehensive healthcare reports and data Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Management or related field
Over 5 years in a leadership capacity within healthcare
Experience with indigenous health systems
Excellent decision-making and project coordination skills
