Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?We're seeking an experienced AI & Data Technical Delivery Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of transformative AI initiatives at scale. In this role, you will lead a complex, high-impact portfolio while navigating intricate cross-functional dependencies, governance frameworks, and architecture decisions across multiple platforms. You will own delivery of sophisticated AI initiatives that drive measurable business impact, manage dependencies across engineering, product, and business teams, and establish governance standards that ensure scalability and consistency. This is a strategic leadership position that requires strong technical acumen, the ability to manage ambiguity, and proven experience delivering complex projects in large organizations.You'll communicate progress and trade-offs with executives and technical teams, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain momentum on critical timelines. We're looking for someone with demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments, modern data and AI stack expertise, and exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.Your responsibilities will include:Lead end-to-end deliveryof complex AI and Data platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, manage priorities, timelines, and interdependencies across teams; identify and resolve risks, blockers, and track critical path items and resource constraint to maintain momentumDrive Cross-Functional Alignment & Governance – Facilitate stakeholder coordination across engineering, product, and business, third-party vendors; communicate progress and trade-offs transparently to leadership and teamsNavigate ambiguityacross technical delivery efforts, applying advanced problem-solving, strategic thinking, and sound judgment to drive progress.Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologiesand innovative approaches to enhance delivery effectiveness and maintain competitive edge.Mentor junior team members,
fostering skill development and sharing best practices within the team.You're our ideal candidate if you:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.5+ years of product management or delivery experience, with a focus on AI/ML-powered products from ideation through production and continuous iteration.Strong and relevant experience in agile practices and tools such as JiraExperience working with AI tools and concepts such as foundational models, AI agent development, agent harnesses, and context engineeringDemonstrated success leading cross-functional teamsExperience with Enterprise governance and large matrix organizationsExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, especially in managing senior stakeholders and delivering executive-level presentations.About the AI Group:RBC's AI Group is the AI accelerator for RBC, with a focus on driving the shift from early-stage AI projects to scaled, client outcomes that amplify the impact of RBC's people.
