Join our dynamic construction team as a Grader Operator and play a vital role in shaping the landscape of infrastructure projects! In this energetic role, you will operate heavy equipment to grade, level, and prepare surfaces for paving, paving-related activities, and other construction tasks. Your expertise will ensure precision and safety on every project site, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale developments.

Duties

- Operate grader machinery to create smooth, level surfaces for roads, parking lots, and other construction projects using Caterpillar or similar equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using loaders or other heavy equipment to support various construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to execute paving operations and ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment like graders, bulldozers, or excavators during operations.




- Follow safety protocols diligently while operating heavy machinery and during site activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Support other construction tasks such as site preparation, grading for drainage, and general earthmoving activities as needed.

Experience

- Proven experience operating graders in a construction setting, with familiarity using Caterpillar or comparable brands.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with dozer operation, loader operation, backhoe operation, excavator handling, and horizontal drilling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely around construction sites while adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Previous experience in paving projects or road construction is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Construction experience involving heavy equipment operation across diverse terrains is a plus.
