Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Requirements: All Terra Opus Group staff members need to be prepared to attend our Mount Albert yard location at 630am Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

- Cut grass, fall and spring clean-ups and perform other maintenance duties as directed by foreman/supervisor/manager;
- Follow all health & safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following Safety Data Sheets (formerly MSDS) for safe handling of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and other dangerous chemicals;




- Clean working areas and maintain tools and equipment.

Tools & Equipment:

- Lawn mowing equipment, hedge shears, pruning saws, string & bush trimmers, power blowers, etc.
- Hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, picks, pruning shears, handheld and hose-end sprayers, soil cultivators, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Driving a pick up truck and covered trailer an asset but not required
- Reading: WHMIS labels, equipment manuals, complete logs and incident reports, job · Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions; hot or cold weather
