The position offers an individual the ability to work at a not-for-profit local community radio station in a supportive environment where both staff and volunteers will make every effort to ensure the individual experiences as many different facets of radio broadcast work as possible. Previous audio editing and/or multimedia production is an asset.At the completion of this placement, the individual will have an excellent base of knowledge and experience to support continued education in the field of journalism and broadcasting in general, combined with opportunities to support the station’s radio production duties – critical during the station’s busy summer period.
