Reporting to the Manager, Land Shared Services, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing and administering land-related system data and reporting. Acting as a liaison between the Land Systems team and key stakeholders including Mineral and Surface Land, as well as Commercial Operations. You will support a portfolio of energy-related applications, with a primary focus on Canadian Natural's land system software, QBLM. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and seamless collaboration across land and operational teams.Job location: Calgary, AlbertaWork schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shiftsSafety sensitive position: NoApplication deadline: August 5, 2026Key AccountabilitiesServe as the primary liaison between Land Systems and Land business units, managing relationships while supporting and maintaining a portfolio of custom and packaged applicationsEvaluate requests for new features and functionality,
preparing well-documented business cases to support application investments, while maintaining a robust understanding of land data requirements across the portfolioDevelop detailed design specifications and collaborate closely with Developers and Systems Analysts to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation of system updatesIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve land application issues on items such as system data quality and reportingWhat You Bring To The Role10+ years of experience as a Land Analyst or Land Systems Analyst, with a proven track record in implementing, supporting, and maintaining land and mapping applicationsPost-secondary education in Petroleum Land Administration or Computer ScienceHands-on experience with land systems such as QBLM, CS Explorer, LandRite, LandView, or LandWorx, with an advanced understanding of land-related data, payments, and reportingProficient in query and data integration tools such as Knime, FME, or Microsoft AccessProficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Microsoft CopilotExperience building and managing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Report Builder or other business intelligence toolsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan, annual bonusesMay be eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Policy100% Employer paid extended Health, Dental and Vision BenefitsHealth & Wellness Spending
