The incumbent shall ensure all programs and policies are in line with the organizations strategic plan, vision and legal requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCorporate Manager - Support Council and Senior Management in achieving Corporate Goals:Provide proactive, strategic guidance and counsel on all information technology initiatives, including overall direction, planning, development and delivery of servicesPartner with senior management team to plan, implement and develop information technology strategies to support the needs of the CountyServe as a catalyst within the organization to ensure continuity of information technology program implementation and communicationEnsure awareness of corporate activities, issues and opportunities as set by Council and Senior ManagementIdentify role for department and what recommendations for action should be presentedCommunicate, correspond and meet with other Municipal, Provincial and Federal officials as necessary to forward the goals or satisfy the needs of the CorporationCorporate Manager - Financial Responsibilities and Budgeting:Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budget for departmentConduct analysis and account for variances from budget to Senior Management and CouncilCorporate Manager - Plan,
