This role emphasizes expertise in security updates and compliance. As the Oracle DB Patching Tower Lead, you will be essential for coordinating with client DBAs and application owners for effective patch management.

Your responsibilities include executing PSU and CPU patches, while conducting health checks and managing offshore teams during onshore hours. Knowledge in change governance is vital for this position. Key Responsibilities:
Direct quarterly PSU/RU and CPU patch efforts using OPatch
Conduct Grid Infrastructure and Data Guard patching
Perform health checks and manage RMAN backups pre- and post-patching
Oversee compliance tracking and update CMDB/KEDB
Author documentation for RFC/CAB submissions Requirements:
Extensive experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Shell, Ansible)
ITIL certification mandatory
Experience in cloud DB fundamentals advantageous
