This pivotal role focuses on driving reconciliation and Indigenization initiatives.The Director will report to the Vice President of Student Success and will play a significant role in implementing Georgian's Indigenization strategy, Maajiishkaadaa. Through community engagement and traditional knowledge, the Director will shape policies and foster relationships that ensure Georgian is a premier institution for Indigenous students. A solid understanding of Indigenous history is crucial.Key Responsibilities:

- Advise college leadership on Indigenous perspectives and strategies
- Develop Indigenous-focused courses and community outreach programs
- Establish relationships with Indigenous organizations and networks
- Represent Georgian in external Indigenous education forumsRequirements:
- 9+ years of relevant leadership experience
