Our dedicated team of PLC designers and engineering professionals ensure top‑out products and services, supported by the Nuclear, Automation, and Industrial divisions.Role DescriptionPromation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector – Level 1 to join our dynamic team. This role involves conducting inspections, supporting testing activities, preparing documentation, and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesQuality Inspection & TestingPerform receiving, in‑process, and final inspections in accordance with inspection plans and requirementsAssist with dimensional inspections and verification activitiesReview and accept raw materials and special process results (e.G., welding, coatings, NDE)Witness and support testing activities (FAT, ATP, etc.)Documentation & Quality SystemsDevelop Manufacturing Inspection & Test Plans (MITPs) and Inspection Test Checklists (ITCs)Prepare and maintain quality documentation and history filesProcess and verify quality records to ensure compliance with company standardsSupplier & Process QualityMonitor procurement activities to ensure QA complianceInitiate and follow up on non‑conformance and corrective action reportsProvide guidance to employees and suppliers on QA policies and expectationsSupport a culture of quality and continuous improvementParticipate in training and professional development activitiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma (minimum)2–5 years of experience in quality inspection, testing, or manufacturing environmentsExperience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferredAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standardsBasic knowledge of GD&T;, machining, and welding inspection techniquesFamiliarity with inspection tools and measurement equipmentProficiency with Microsoft Office programsStrong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced environmentWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Participation in our Retirement Saving Plan & Deferred Profit‑Sharing Plan.Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development.Exciting and unique projects to grow and develop your career!A versatile and supportive work workplace.Salary range: $58,000 – $67,000If you are passionate about quality assurance and thrive in an environment where attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards are paramount, we encourage you to apply!This job posting is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization.
