The candidate designs and constructs new processes for modeling data, develops predictive models, and leverages big data technology to design solutions that deliver smarter business decisions, improve customer experience, and drive productivity. The role collaborates with other data and analytics professionals and teams to optimize, refine, and scale analysis into mature analytics solutions.ResponsibilitiesPlay an active role in the futuristic display of data, and advance innovative data strategies to understand consumer trends and address business problems.Mine and extract usable data from valuable data sources to assess the feasibility of AI/ML solutions for improved processing and usage of organization data.Conduct large-scale analysis of information to discover patterns and trends by combining different modules and algorithms.Use analysis to provide recommendations and advice for business leaders to maintain market competitiveness.Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms, and investigate additional technologies and tools for innovative data solutions for business stakeholders.Collaborate with the product team and partners to understand and provide data-driven decision making, business planning,
and future roadmap.Operate at a group/enterprise-wide level and serve as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.Apply expertise and think creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and find solutions to complex, non-routine problems.Implement changes in response to shifting trends.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying the Risk Management Framework, in line with our Risk Culture and within our approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk-informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets, and adhere to applicable policy documents, laws, and regulations.QualificationsTypically 7+ years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong programming skills in Python or SAS.Proficiency in SQL and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).Experience working in a cloud-based modeling setting a plus (e.G., AWS SageMaker, AzureML).Experience in automation and scheduling of data pipelines for end-to-end scoring solutions.Experience developing customer discretionary pricing optimization models is an asset.CompensationSalary range: $103,200.00 - $192,000.00. The role is salaried. Salaries may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
