We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardie Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing fiber cement siding, commonly known as Hardie Board, on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, aesthetic appeal, and quality of our clients’ exteriors.

Responsibilities

- Measure and interpret blueprints to determine the correct installation procedures for Hardie siding
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary caulking or sealants to ensure proper adhesion
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels to cut, shape, and secure fiber cement panels
- Install siding panels accurately according to specifications while maintaining safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting of siding materials and other construction components safely and efficiently




- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure alignment and finish standards are met
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Qualifications

- Proven experience with construction work, carpentry, or handyman tasks involving exterior building materials
- Familiarity with hand tools used in siding installation and general construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing and finishing touches
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or climbing ladders
- Prior experience reading blueprints or technical plans related to exterior siding projects is preferred
- Strong attention to detail combined with a commitment to safety protocols
