Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will support clients with daily activities, medication administration & reminders, emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Experience in senior care and dementia care is required. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing specialized support and care.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance

- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols

- Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments

- Help with meal preparation

- Monitor and report changes in client condition

- Assist with light housekeeping duties in clients home





- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients

- Follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

- Prior experience in nursing homes, senior care, or home health care preferred

- Knowledge of medication administration, and basic patient care procedures

- Experience working with individuals with dementia is a plus

- Solid caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client well-being

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team

- Certification in care aide, CPR, first aid and criminal record check are mandatory

- Must be reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to providing respectful, high-quality care

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
