Complete Utility Contractors is a Lower Mainland-based civil utility contractor specializing in underground utility construction. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator or Skilled Labourer who holds a valid Class 1 license and is willing and able to operate a tandem dump truck and pony when required.

This is not a dedicated truck driving position. The successful candidate will primarily work as part of our civil construction crews, with the flexibility to drive truck as operational needs require.

Skills & Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 BC Driver’s Licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Experience operating a tandem axle dump truck and pony
- Civil/underground utility construction experience
- Experience as either a Heavy Equipment Operator or Skilled Labourer
- For Operators: experience operating excavators, loaders, backhoe and/or other civil construction equipment
- Comfortable moving between equipment operation, laboring, and truck driving depending on the needs of the crew
- Strong understanding of jobsite and equipment safety
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to work as part of a crew
- Professional and respectful when dealing with coworkers, customers and the public
