Salary:$49.434, $51.160, $52.891, $54.694, $56.455, $58.282, $59.447, $60.637Pensionable Salary Enhancement:Nurses in eligible classifications may earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full‑time hours within a prescribed six‑month reporting period (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027).Position OverviewThe registered nurse is under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge and is responsible for providing direct patient care management. The RN fosters positive, skilled communications, functions according to the standards of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and the Churchill Regional Health Authority and will function as Nurse in Charge as directed by the Nursing Supervisor or Nurse in Charge. The registered nurse will participate in Quality Service and Quality Improvement Programs and function as a member of the health care team, participating in staff education and professional development.ExperiencePrevious acute care experience an asset.Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)Graduate of a recognized diploma and/or degree program in nursing.Certification/Licensure/RegistrationMust be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).Active participation in professional associations e.G. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.Current CPR Certification.
