Tool and Die Maker page is loaded## Tool and Die Makerlocations:East Gwillimbury, Ontariotime type:Full timeposted on:Posted Todayjob requisition id:JR101960* Perform all maintenance and repair work in either the plant or grounds.* Perform repairs and maintenance of production and other equipment.* Repair and upgrade assembly fixtures and tooling, and manufacturing of spare tooling components.* Maintain tooling spare parts and components inventory at appropriate levels. Inform the tool crib attendant of low levels or shortage of parts or components in stock.* Maintain up to date documentation of equipment. This includes documenting changes and alterations to fixtures and their components.* Solve maintenance related problems with minimal interruption to production.* Actively participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program and down time reduction process. This includes following the PMP schedule and completing PMP checklists.* Prepare a list of problems encountered during the shift and other necessary reports as requested.* Document all work orders in MVP daily.* Participate in the development and implementation of the latest technologies to improve productivity and/or quality.* Participate in all training to upgrade skills and knowledge to meet changing technologies customer, government and health and safety requirements.* Make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs. This includes manufacturing, repairs and installations of parts, components, services,



and equipment.* Advise the Welding Manager of any potential problems and offer solutions.* Actively participate in the preparation of safety and operation procedures.* Ensure and maintain clear and secure working conditions.* Assist in the training and development of new hires and apprentices.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
