Join Atlantic Packaging as a Third Class Operating Engineer in Scarborough. This full time, in office role entails operating and maintaining critical utility systems, primarily high-pressure boilers. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, your responsibilities include ensuring equipment reliability and adhering to safety regulations.

Your experience with high-pressure water tube boilers and boiler auxiliaries, combined with your proactive troubleshooting skills, will underpin the operational efficiency of the plant. This is a pivotal role aimed at fostering a safe and effective working workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers and compressors
Perform thorough boiler water testing protocols




Troubleshoot utility systems and perform necessary maintenance
Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures
Assist with additional plant operational duties as required Requirements:
Valid Ontario 3rd Class Operating Engineer's Certificate
Previous experience with high-pressure water tube boilers
Mechanical maintenance expertise in industrial settings
Ability to lift heavy loads, up to 50 lbs
