We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and recording shipments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and shipping processes. Duties
Operate industrial scales and related equipment to weigh incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and efficiency
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as MRP or AS400 to document weights, dimensions, and shipment details
Assist with order picking, packing, and staging to prepare items for shipment or storage
Load and unload freight using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Verify order accuracy through basic math calculations and ensure proper packaging for protected transit
Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate timely dispatches and arrivals




Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area, ensuring all safety standards are met

Experience
Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution environment or e-commerce fulfillment center preferred
Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment; forklift certification is a plus
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems, or AS400 platforms
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and inventory control
Strong basic math skills for accurate measurement and data entry
Previous experience in order picking, load & unload operations, or packaging roles is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
