Our primary business is within North America, but we reach worldwide from legacy fossil fuel and nuclear plants to growing renewable energy power grids.Who will you be working with?As a member of the team at Unifin International, you will be working with the Welding Department. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work with 38 experienced team members.How will you make a difference?We have a current opening for an individual who has the knowledge, skills, and experience to fulfill an important Welder role. This vital role will learn, and gain experience to become an experienced welder on Unifin’s nonstandard product. This individual is initiative‑taking, willing to listen and learn, take guidance from senior employees, and willing to put in the time and effort to be a future leader in the welding department.What do we want to know about you?Able to work as an individual or with other departments to meet customer demands and expectations; Overhead cranematerial handling experience; Proven weldingexperience; Attention to detail; Dedicated worker who wants to reach their full potential; Able to lift 50 lbs.Typical DayWorking in a fast‑paced manufacturing welding environment; Work collaboratively with 6 welding team members; Ability to understand and execute direction from supervisor to meet production goals and deadlines; Working alone on various tasks; Ability to deal with fit‑up issue, stressful situations, all while meeting tight critical deadlines; Operate overhead and jib cranes safely; Be responsiblefor your own safety,
while ensuring you are keeping your team safe as well; Ability to plan your time to efficiently assemble product with speed and accuracy; Interpret drawingsand other written instructions to accurately weld sub‑assemblies; Keep the work areaclean, organized, and free of hazards to promote a safe working environment; Record production and operational data accurately and maintain logs of welding; Working with welded and machined parts ranging from 1 Lb. to 250 lbs.; Detailed oriented; Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
