Duties
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with precision and attention to detail
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely
Identify and address surface imperfections or repairs needed before painting begins
Protect furniture, fixtures, flooring, and surrounding areas from paint splatters or damage during the painting process




Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project timelines and address any concerns
Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper storage of tools for longevity and safety

Qualifications
Proven experience as a residential painter or similar role with a robust portfolio of completed projects
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and various types of paints, stains, and finishes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions if working outdoors
Robust communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members effectively
Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
