OverviewFounded in 1927, Gorge Vale is a private golf club located minutes from downtown Victoria, British Columbia. The Club features a classic parkland course designed by A.V. Macan, recognized for its strategic layout, natural terrain, and mature tree-lined corridors. Gorge Vale has a long-standing reputation for delivering a high-quality golf experience in a welcoming, member-focused environment. With a strong and engaged membership, the Club continues to evolve—balancing its rich heritage with thoughtful investment in facilities, infrastructure, and programming to meet the expectations of our members.The Club has 700 playing members and a total membership of 950. Gorge Vale members are very active, playing 58,000 rounds in 2025. Demand for membership is healthy with a waitlist of approximately 1 year. The Club has consistently generated operating surpluses and has established dedicated funding for capital replacement.
