Join IWK Health as a Research Nurse focused on the MIREC study in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role involves delivering nursing care and navigating complex study protocols with a hybrid work model. This temporary part time assignment allows you to engage directly with participants and support their journey through the clinical study.
Collaborate closely with researchers and clinical staff while ensuring compliance and ethical standards are met. Your experience in clinical research and attention to detail will play a crucial role in study success. Key Responsibilities:
Attend study orientation meetings and site initiation visits
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of study status and milestones
Educate participants about study procedures and risks
Document study data in alignment with Positive Clinical Practice
Report adverse events and manage participant confidentiality Requirements:
Registration with Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator
7+ years of clinical nursing experience required
Solid organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with electronic health records
Experience conducting Tanner staging assessments Make a meaningful impact on public health by shaping clinical studies at IWK Health.
